Day 2: Discuss the meaning behind your name.

According to the little name cards you get in the drug store by the post cards and gift-lets, my name is of English origin and is based on the endearment “Darling.” Fits no? (Naysayers, your comments will be deleted)! I kid, I kid.
As far as I can tell, my folks had none of this in mind when I came along. They already had three girls whose names all started with D’s. I wasn’t, as my sisters hadn’t been, the David Maurice they had hoped for. (He would’ve been spoiled anyway).

So my name came kind of off the cuff. And when my twin sister popped out behind me, they really had to think on their toes! Oh yeah, and we were three months early. Tehe—surpri-i-i-i-i-se!
Hey Dar – I kinda like this…no, i REALLY like this one! For the record, I can’t imagine that :”David Maurice” would have been anymore spoiled than y’all – if he’d have gotten here…but had you not been so anxious to get out in this world, your birthday would have been APRIL 14th, but that’s what I say ’bout being ‘FAST’! Yep, I love seeing this one & the pic of the family is priceless too! Looking forward to these ‘challenges’! Love & hugs forever…
