Dianne’s Posse will be walking through historic downtown Dover, Delaware to stomp out MS on Saturday April 18th.
As you may (or may not) know, Dianne’s my big sister and she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in the summer of 2007.
She’s still the life of the party, determined to laugh and make everyone laugh with her. But her journey is not without many of the challenges of MS. She now walks with the aid of a cane and is prone to extreme fatigue for instance.
On April 18th the rest of the tribe: my parents, sisters, brother in laws and the little ones are joining in the MS Walk to support Dianne and those like her who live with MS everyday; to support research that will make her journey and that of others like her who live with MS easier; because we can.
Please support our team (Dianne’s Posse) by joining us on April 18th in historic downtown Dover Delaware or else in helping us reach our fundraising goal by sending a donation on behalf of our team.
Registering for the walk is free; donations are accepted here: http://main.nationalmssociety.org/site/TR?px=6136902&pg=personal&fr_id=11054
Thanks for your support!
**************UPDATE: We raised nearly 3x our goal, and you can still donate–through June 1, 2009. Here’s the Posse at Legislative Mall on Saturday.
